Elementary
Weekly Reader Edition 2 builds general knowledge and teaches new vocabulary while reinforcing science and social studies skills. Every issue is filled with vibrant photos and non-fiction text to support grade-specific themes and the literacy scope and sequence used in your classroom.

 Over the school year, Weekly Reader Edition 2 publishes 32 issues. The magazines arrive once a month, in a bundle of four different issues. As part of your Weekly Reader AbleNet Editions subscription, you receive 10 copies of each issue (a total of 40 copies monthly) to share with your students. In addition, every month you'll also get three levels of electronic adapted AbleNet Editions content for each issue.

Secondary
WRSR News Edition appeals to every learner in your classroom with cross-content new and non-fiction articles. Filled with new infographics, colorful maps, graphs, charts, and more. Build comprehension, vocabulary, and math while supporting standards-based instruction.

Your WRSR subscription includes 25 issues over the school year. As part of your Weekly Reader AbleNet Editions subscription, each week you receive 10 copies of the current issue to share with your students. Getting your specially-designed Weekly Reader AbleNet Editions content as easy as 1-2-3!
 

Step 1

1.Receive your Weekly Reader subscription by mail from Weekly Reader each month.
New subscribers please note: Your first bundle of Weekly Reader magazines
should arrive in August 2010. You will receive notification when adapted content is
available online. Please call customer service at 1-800-322-0956 with any questions
you may have. 
 

 

Step 2

2. Log in at wr.ablenetinc.com with your username and password.

 

Step 3

3. Download the specialized AbleNet Editions for each Weekly Reader publication you
purchased – ready to use with your students.
 

Delivery Schedule
Monthly Publication: Weekly Activities

AbleNet Editions publications are made available on the same schedule as Weekly Reader magazines that you receive in the mail. Whether you choose Weekly Reader Edition 2 or WR News Edition, AbleNet will provide you with a bundle of 10 magazines of the latest issue to ship within the next 3-5 business days so you can get started as soon as possible in your classroom. AbleNet Editions online adapted content will be available to you upon your receipt of login and password information. Simply log on to the included url and you will have access to your three levels of adapted content for each magazine.

Note: You will be receiving your future issues directly from Weekly Reader via mail.

 


You will receive your notification of availability of content consistent with that schedule. Please call customer service at 1-800-322-0956 with questions. You will be able to download all of the content available for the weekly publication or just an individual lesson, giving you, the teacher, the flexibility to decide what to work on and when.
