If you do not agree with the below terms, do not provide us with any personal information. If you choose not to provide us with such personal information, we may not be able to offer you the services and products offered through our website.

Your use of the website is subject to our Terms of Use. You agree that you have read our Terms of Use, and you agree to its terms.

Collection and Use of Information

General Overview. AbleNet collects personal information from you only when you affirmatively provide it to us. Personal information means information that can be linked to a specific individual, including your first and last name, telephone number, postal and e-mail addresses, and, in some cases, billing information when you purchase products (such as credit card number, cardholder name, and expiration date). We also may request information about your company, school district, school building, title, affiliation, company size, estimated revenues, number of students serviced, and types of students you work with. We will also collect similar information for third parties whose information you enter on our website and other information in order to complete the purchase. We require such information so that we can process, fulfill, and confirm your order and keep you updated on your order. If you are an interested distributor or a sales representative, we also collect additional information that you may provide to us through our website. Such information includes your entity’s name, postal and email address, phone, size, number of years in business, marketing models, accounting information, and other business information that may be requested on the webpage where you can submit such information. We use this information to evaluate whether to enter into a business relationship with you as our distributor or sales representative.

Member Profile. You may choose to complete your online member profile by providing AbleNet with your name, company name, postal and email address, telephone number, credit card billing information, unique login name, and unique password. This information is primarily used to (i) make your orders on our website quicker and easier so that you do not have to re-enter such information repeatedly, (ii) allow us to keep you informed about your orders and to contact you with updated order information, (iii) make product and service improvements to our website, and (iv) customize the content of our website to your needs.

Your Information From Other Sources. We may obtain information about you from our business partners and other independent third-party sources and add it to our account information. For example, we may obtain more current delivery and address information, which we use to correct our records and to facilitate proper delivery of your purchases.

Your Comments, Submissions, and Customer Service.  When you email, write, or call us or our customer service, we collect contact information (name, phone number, mailing address, or e-mail address), information about the relevant purchase as necessary to assist you and any other information that you may provide. For example, if you call for assistance with a preexisting purchase, we may request your contact and billing information. We welcome all feedback about our website, products, and services. The content of any comments, suggestions, questions, information, and feedback received by AbleNet shall be deemed non-confidential. Any comments or materials sent to AbleNet through this website, including all feedback, questions, comments, suggestions, and the like, shall become the sole property of AbleNet. AbleNet shall be free to use any such suggestions, comments, concepts, and the like for any and all purposes of its sole choosing, without payment of any compensation.  For additional terms and more information, please refer to “Your Submissions” Section in our Terms of Use.

Contests, Promotions, Raffles, or Sweepstakes. We may offer you the chance to win products or other prizes by sponsoring contests, promotions, raffles, or sweepstakes. If you choose to participate, we will collect personal information, such as your name, phone number, postal and e-mail addresses, and other information that we may request for such contest, promotion, raffle, or sweepstakes. We will use contact information to notify you if you win. We may send you additional communication if you enter into our contests, promotions, raffles, or sweepstakes.  If a third party administers the contest, your participation may be subject to the third party's terms and conditions and privacy policy. Detailed information about these terms will be provided on the applicable form you will be asked to fill out.

Surveys. We value your comments and periodically may invite you to participate in a survey, which is entirely voluntary and up to you on whether to participate. We will collect the responses you provide and will make them anonymous to aggregate them with those of other participants. We will use such survey data to develop promotions and product improvements to our website.

Product Information and Customer Lists. You may voluntarily opt in to subscribe to our optional newsletters and product update benefits so that we can inform you of the latest product information that may be of interest to you. You will be asked whether you would like to subscribe to our optional newsletters and product update benefits when you order a product through our website.  You may also request that we add you to our newsletter and product update mailings by contacting customer service. If you subscribe to our newsletters and product updates, you will receive promotional communication from AbleNet. Information collected, including from the orders that you place, may be used to create customer lists for which you may be sent promotional materials. Customer lists are solely for AbleNet’s use and will not be shared, rented, or sold to third parties except in connection with a corporate transaction such as divestiture, merger, consolidation, or asset sale.
