Creative Story-telling and Story-building Strategies to Build Attention, Self-regulation and Imagination of Young Learners

Captivate young learners with creative use of highly motivating story-telling and story-building strategies to enhance their attention and self-regulation skills. This webinar session will illustrate how to use these story-based activities to stimulate language development, nurture executive function skills and build imagination and creativity of young learners in pre-k, kindergarten and early elementary settings. A selection of popular and colorful picture books to serve as anchors to support the activities will be discussed.

A diverse array of individualized and child-specific adaptations and supports based on UDL principles to facilitate active participation of all learners, inclusive of those with significant and complex needs will be included.
