AbleNet Assistive Technology Donation Request
Eligibility Criteria
We consider donation requests from:
- Public and private K-12 schools with demonstrated financial need
- Nonprofit organizations that support individuals with disabilities or assistive technology access
- Special circumstances where a donation would have a significant impact
We do not provide donations to:
- For-profit businesses
- Individuals requesting donations for personal use
- Organizations that resell donated products
Priority is given to:
- Schools and nonprofits serving low-income or otherwise underserved communities
- Programs that demonstrate a clear and measurable impact in their communities
Product Scope
We offer donations for a select set of products, based on availability. The specific products eligible for donation may change over time, depending on inventory and strategic priorities. We do not donate discontinued items, products that are scheduled for sunset, or products with limited supply.Donation Frequency & Budget
We allocate a set number of units per quarter for donations. Once the quota is met, additional requests will be considered in the next cycle.
Each approved request is eligible for up to 5 units per organization per year.
Follow-up & Impact Reporting
To ensure our donations are making a difference, we request that recipients:
- Provide a brief impact statement or testimonial within 3 months of receiving the donation.
- Submit photos and/or a short case study showing how the donation has been used.
This helps us improve our program and may be featured (with permission) in marketing materials.
