Presenter Biography: Elizabeth Doherty, CCC-SLP, A/OGA, is a speech-language pathologist, literacy specialist, and national presenter. After over a decade in New York City Public Schools, Elizabeth established a private practice specializing in supporting students with co-occurring dyslexia and Developmental Language Disorder (DLD). As the creator of The Reading SLP, Elizabeth has developed a course series and membership community that empowers speech pathologists to integrate literacy support into their therapy sessions by leveraging their language expertise. Currently serving as an adjunct lecturer and pursuing her doctorate at the City University of New York, her research focuses on the critical intersection between language delay and reading disability. Elizabeth resides in New York City with her husband and two daughters.
