In this webinar, participants will learn evidence-based strategies to elicit voiceless and voiced /th/. Topics include common errors, phonetic placement strategies, and phonetic shaping. Troubleshooting potential cosmetic errors will also be discussed.

Presenter Biography: Laura D’Surney, M.S., CCC-SLP is an ASHA-certified and Virginia-licensed speech-language pathologist. She graduated with her Master’s degree from James Madison University in 2020. She has practiced exclusively in pediatrics, working for outpatient clinics, private practices, and schools. In early 2025 she opened her own private practice, Play on Words Speech Therapy, that provides mobile therapy in central Virginia and specializes in speech sound disorders and language delays. Laura has special interests in speech sound disorders. She also operates Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) and Boom Learning stores, where she sells resources to other SLPs.
