Presenter Biography: Stephanie Cohen, M.A., CCC-SLP, CLC is a speech-language pathologist, lactation counselor, and mother who has worked with infants and toddlers for more than 20 years. Her mission is to empower each caregiver to be their child’s best teacher by supporting emotional connection and early language learning. Stephanie is a credentialed provider in IL Early Intervention and partners with Early Intervention programs nationally to offer workshops for providers and administrators. Stephanie is also a mentor, speaker, and consultant who supports students and clinicians in the field. On social media (@Learntotalkwithme on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok), Stephanie reaches a large audience of parents and families by sharing evidence-based information to support communication and overall development. Stephanie’s My First Learn-to-Talk board book series (Sourcebooks) has emerged as a valuable tool for families, helping them to use developmental principles to support communication development.
