In this session, participants enhanced their skills by recognizing developmental milestones, implementing age-appropriate strategies, and utilizing toy placement to create engaging therapy sessions. Presenter Biography: Kelli Meyer is a nationally recognized Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, specializing in early childhood language development and parent education. As a small business owner and SLP she operates The Speech Scoop, a thriving online community resource for parents and related professionals. As a childhood development expert for Lovevery, Kelli is dedicated to empowering parents with tools and strategies that support all facets of communication.
Julie Barry is an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with over a
decade of experience, currently licensed in New Jersey. She has worked in
various clinical settings, including hospitals, schools, early intervention
programs, and private practice. Julie is a PROMPT-trained clinician with a
special focus on late-talking, motor speech disorders such as apraxia, and
preschool speech-language disorders. She is known for incorporating
movement into her sessions to engage children effectively.
