This presentation will prepare you to recognize gestalt language development and understand the relevant research and clinical application. It will review the differences between gestalt language development and analytic language development. It will highlight Natural Language Acquisition and the supportive stance clinicians can use with gestalt language processors. It will then go further by providing rich application to AAC systems. It will offer rich, interactive design considerations for attendees to synthesize information for next day, on the job, clinical use with their GLP AAC users.

She has been published and supported both inpatient pediatric and educational AAC research. She helped author the GLP and AAC course for www.meaningfulspeech.com.
